Oppo has set the European price for the Find X10 Pro Max at 1,799 euros, a figure that places the non-foldable handset in the same price bracket as premium foldable devices.

The new flagship runs on a MediaTek processor. Its 1,799 euro sticker price is only 200 euros below the Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 8, which is sold for 1,999 euros in the region. By comparison, the Samsung Galaxy S26 Ultra, a direct competitor in the flat smartphone category, carries a lower price tag of 1,769 euros.

Reviewers who tested the device over several weeks cited strong performance, high-quality cameras, and exceptional battery life. Despite these hardware merits, the high cost has tempered initial enthusiasm for the launch.

The pricing strategy is being attributed to rising memory costs driven by the artificial intelligence sector, a trend observers have labeled RAMageddon. This industry-wide pressure appears to be affecting multiple manufacturers. Xiaomi is also expected to face steep pricing for its upcoming European models.

Consumer reaction on social media has been critical. Reddit users noted that the Find X10 Pro Max matches the cost of the Apple iPhone 18 Pro Max. Commenters also pointed out that the previous generation Find X9 Ultra remains available for a lower price. One user observed that the older model includes more memory and a larger battery while costing hundreds of euros less. The Find X9 Pro is currently available in Europe for approximately 1,000 euros.

Some shoppers in the United Kingdom have reported securing the new phone through promotional offers. However, the standard retail price remains high in a market where costs have already risen sharply. Reviewers suggested that the Find X9 Pro may offer better value for many buyers given the price difference between the two models.

Oppo has not announced further changes to the European pricing structure. The Find X10 Pro Max is available for purchase at its listed price of 1,799 euros.
