Four commercial flights across Europe faced bomb threats on Tuesday, prompting emergency landings and temporary airport closures. No explosives were discovered in any of the completed inspections.

The first incident involved a LOT Polish Airlines aircraft flying from London Heathrow. The plane was diverted to Warsaw-Modlin Airport after a threat was issued. The flight had originally been scheduled to land at Warsaw-Chopin Airport. Warsaw-Modlin closed temporarily to handle the security alert. The airport reopened around midday after officials confirmed the alert was stood down. They stated that no device was found on the plane.

A separate threat affected an SAS flight traveling from Copenhagen to Warsaw. That aircraft landed at Warsaw-Chopin Airport. Airport officials conducted checks on the plane and confirmed that no device was present.

In Spain, a Ryanair plane flying from Manchester made an emergency landing at Murcia airport in the south of the country due to a bomb threat. A total of 114 passengers and seven crew members exited the aircraft after it touched down. Francisco Lucas, the Spanish government delegate for the region, posted on X that the Civil Guard had inspected the plane. He confirmed that explosives were ruled out and that the airport had resumed normal operations.

A fourth flight, departing from Israel, landed at Sofia airport in Bulgaria after receiving a threat via email. This event marked the fourth alert in the daily series of incidents. The wave of threats followed a similar event on Monday when a Wizz Air flight from London was diverted to Budapest. Hungarian Defence Minister Romulusz Ruszin-Szendi announced that diversion on social media.

The affected routes included the Manchester to Murcia service, the London Heathrow to Warsaw flight, the Copenhagen to Warsaw service, and the flight from Israel to Sofia. In every case where security teams finished their inspections, they reported that no explosives were found on board.
