Frankel Criticizes Cohen Over Fan Fest Comment

A dispute has emerged between two long-time residents of the Hamptons regarding a recent comment made on a television panel. Bethenny Frankel, an original cast member of The Real Housewives of New York City, is challenging Andy Cohen, the head of Bravo, after he addressed her potential return to the franchise.

Frankel left the series permanently in 2019. She recently took to social media to respond to remarks made by Cohen at a Bravo Fan Fest. She stated that he was asked if he would bring her back to the show. Frankel reported that he replied, “I’m not really that active on TikTok.”

Frankel argued that Cohen avoids the social platform because he is still in the same position as when she departed. She noted that the only thing that has changed are the ratings. She described Cohen as bitter about losing original cast members to a rival network.

The former star referred to E!’s new program, The Golden Life. This show features her former costars Luann de Lesseps, Kelly Bensimon, Ramona Singer, Sonja Morgan, and Dorinda Medley. Frankel said the group is making their own money on their own terms while Cohen waits for them to pay his paycheck.

The Golden Life premiered on October 20. It airs on E! Tuesday nights at 10 p.m. Fans can stream the show on Hulu.

Cohen splits his time between Manhattan and Amagansett. Frankel owns a home in Shinnecock Bay. The two have lived in the area for years before this latest exchange.
